Ruman Aceh Kindergarten Little Hajj Manasik 2025: Introducing the Hajj from an Early Age

Banda Aceh – Kindergarten Ruman Aceh again held the activity Manasik Haji Cilik 2025 on Friday, (07/02/25) as part of the Islamic religious education program which is regularly held every year. This activity aims to introduce the fifth pillar of Islam to children from an early age and instill the values ​​of faith, independence and togetherness in their lives.

Since morning, the Ruman Aceh Kindergarten children looked enthusiastic about wearing the all-white ihram clothes, like Hajj pilgrims who were performing their worship in the Holy Land. With the guidance of the ustadz and teachers, they went through the stages of the Hajj ritual, starting from the intention of ihram, tawaf around the miniature Kaaba, sa'i between Shafa and Marwah, wukuf on Arafah, throwing the jumrah, to tahallul as a symbol of the completion of the Hajj.

"With this simulation, children can learn directly how to carry out the Hajj. Even though it is still in the form of an educational game, they can understand that the Hajj is one of the obligations for Muslims who are capable,"

Apart from introducing the procedures for the Hajj pilgrimage, this activity also trains patience, discipline and togetherness among children. They are taught to walk hand in hand, follow the directions of the ustadz and teacher, and prioritize solemnity in every ritual procession. It is hoped that this can shape their religious character and strengthen their love for Islamic teachings.

The little Hajj rituals at Ruman Aceh Kindergarten not only function as a place of learning, but also become a spiritual experience that can stick in the minds of children until they grow up. It is hoped that through this activity, children can grow up with a better understanding of religion and will later be able to perform the real Hajj pilgrimage.
