Peusijuk Colors SEDATI Activities at Ruman Aceh Kindergarten, Instills Cultural Values ​​from an Early Age

Banda Aceh — SEDATI activities at Ruman Aceh Kindergarten took place solemnly and meaningfully through the peusijuk procession, a typical Acehnese tradition that is full of prayer and blessing values. This activity was attended by the students together with the teachers without the presence of the students' parents.

The event aims to introduce local culture to children from an early age, while at the same time instilling spiritual values ​​​​and togetherness. In a simple but warm atmosphere, the students participated in each series of activities enthusiastically.

The Head of TK Ruman Aceh said that this activity was part of the school's efforts to preserve Acehnese culture in the educational environment. "Children need to be introduced to regional traditions from an early age so that they grow up with a love for their own culture," he said.

The peusijuk procession is guided by the teacher in a way that is adapted to the age of the children, so that it is easy to understand and follow. The series of activities began with reading a prayer, then continued with peusijuk as a symbol of hope for safety, blessings and success for the students.

The children looked cheerful and full of enthusiasm taking part in these activities. Even though it is carried out simply, the atmosphere of togetherness between students and teachers feels warm and full of family.
