TBM RUMAN Aceh is a Community Reading Park which provides an open learning space for children, teenagers and the wider community who want to foster an interest in reading and literacy. This program is designed to support all groups, especially those who need more access to education and literacy, such as orphans, poor people, or underprivileged families, while remaining open to participants who wish to participate independently or with personal support.
At TBM RUMAN Aceh, participants get access to various books, literacy activities, and creative learning that encourage them to think critically, express ideas, and develop independent learning abilities. The activities implemented are interactive and fun, including reading together, discussions, educational games, and creative projects that combine literacy with arts and local culture.
Apart from fostering literacy, this program also focuses on building character, discipline and social skills, so that participants are not only academically intelligent, but also able to act independently, confidently and responsibly.
